ROB MACHADO BONSAI COLLECTION
At first glance, pruning a bonsai tree and shaping a board don’t seem to have much in common. But, both crafts require seeing something, whether that’s a hunk of foam or a fledgling bonsai, not for what it is — but for what it has the potential to be. For this campaign we created a video with surfing icon and shaper Rob Machado and master bonsai tree pruner, Yusuke Hamamoto work side by side, discussing the similarities between the two ancient arts.
